- 1/4 c. Betty Crocker instant potato buds, no substitute
- 3 T. chicken bouillon powder
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp rubbed sage
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 small packet Ranch dressing mix

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Betty Crocker instant potato buds, no substitute shopping list
- 3 T. chicken bouillon powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning shopping list
- 1 tsp rubbed sage shopping list
- 1 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1 small packet ranch dressing mix shopping list
How to make it
- Place above ingredients in a blender and pulse till finely powdered.
- Use as a seasoning for chicken or other dishes.
- Store at room temperature,
- tightly capped, for several months.
- (makes 1/2 cup)

Was this review helpful? Yes FlagThanks for the recipe. I developed celiac disease two years ago and can no longer eat Zehnder's chicken seasoning. Now I can enjoy the flavors from my childhood again. It just isn't Frankenmuth style chicken (grilled or otherwise) or Frankenmuth style buttered noodles without Zehnder's chicken seasoning. If it wasn't for their use of wheat flour as an anti-caking agent, I would never be tempted to stray.

Thank you everyone! Zehender's of Michigan has a Restaurant and is known for using this type recipe on their Chicken. Since I am always on the go, thought I would share a secret! It really is great and something to add to a spice cabinet!
